It is a business hotel with good facilities. However, during the summerbreak the information regarding outside facilities such as dining in the garden and using the swimmingpools were ambivalent. For instance, swimming was allowed only at 10 am and dining needed reservations. Furthermore the prices were very high, 5 euro for a small cup of coffee and 50 euro for a pedicure seem somehow exaggerated For non Spanish guests the dinnertimes are a bit late, a la carte choices should be available for reasonable prices. For instance, dinner prices were set for three meals, starter, diner and desert. A single options was not possible, so I had to pay the full price in the cafe. That can be accomodated more in my view. |

the atmosfair of the hotel the staff and the food . the one swiming pool was out of order and derty and the other had chairs to seat so we staid down in the grass. |

We were upgraded and treated very nicely by the staff. The room was exchanged when we complained of a faulty noisy air conditioner. Unfortunately there was a pool party sponsored by the hotel which lasted until two in the morning. The noise was unbearable and the next morning my wife had an important presentation. Moreover, the exterior pool was closed during our last day for repairs. We should have been warned. |

I have traveled a lot over the years, and have stayed in many hotels. The Rey Juan Carlos I may be the best hotel I ever stayed in. |

Our Room air conditioner was not working and the room was hot. Maintenance came and fixed it but it still did not work. we had to ask to get a room changed. Showers are not very ergonomically designed. almost all the time the water leaks through the door. |

The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious for 3 people and the bathroom was a mini suite, with seperate shower, wc and bath. Would stay there again definately. The meals and drinks were really over priced, but then so was Barcelona in a whole. |

I loved the warm outdoor pool, the indoor pools and all the different aromatherapy rooms of varied temperatures in the spa area. Concierge service was outstanding. The room did not have a clock nor did it have a TV guide to determine which channel would offer the temperature for each day. It took a few mornings/evenings to find weather channels at specific times. One day we called the desk and they searched the Internet and called us later. We were on vacation and did not bring our computers. Staff was quite helpful and courteous...especially the concierge. |

Their lobby level 'tapas' bar with some sort of Heineken beer connection was exceedingly expensive for the quality of food and service received. The bar's Barcelona Minimalist interior decor was poorly executed and unattractive. I expect services to be more dear than those outside, but I demand quality in return especially from a five star hotel. |

Good size room and very comfortable. Too far from the city centre. Access to internet should be free. |
