it is very close to train station and metro. very handy to get about

the reception is total disaster, i was not in my room until 4 0 clock. and they had to change the room. even then it was not properly clean. the standard was very poor for 4 star quality. beware of the bar. total rip off.

Was well situated to Placa Espana and near train station

Lots of noise from room above, walls thin, plus works outside and windows not able to block noise. Some parts of hotel are dated.

Close to metro station, clean rooms, hotel provided tourist brochures that we actually used, friendly staff that were able to recommend things to do

Could not get the women's final tennis match on the TV but was able to get the men's

Roof Bar Area

Small rooms, small beds, dirty stained carpets throughout the hotel, many things usually included in the price are extras at the EXPO, for example use of the room safe costs extra. Bathrooms old and quite poor generally.

The hotel was close to the underground/subway. Pool on the roof was
nice, given the price level of the hotel - a bit small perhaps, but
nice. Nicely decorated lobby.

The standard rooms are dated, and not very sound proof. The room should
have been more carefully cleaned. Long check-out line suggests
understaffed reception. The food in the rooftop bar/restaurant was
unacceptable. A pizza for eur 12.00 should be freshly made, but we were
served a factory-made frozen pizza that was still cold in the middle
when delivered to our table, which is unacceptable.

Reception staff were good and the hotel had a relaxed feel to it. Our refurbished room was good - we would have had to move to a different hotel if we hadn't been moved - and we did pay extra for the better room.

The non-refurbished room which we had to take for 1st night was not nice at all - clean but that's the best feature. Even though the new rooms are better and in a different class I am surprised that this hotel is given a 4 star rating while these rooms are still being sold. This vast difference in standard should be pointed out more clearly on the site.

the rooftop pool was indispensible! and the breakfast buffet was really good
