This new, boutique hotel is set just off Plaça Espanya, the Magic Fountains and the magnificent Montjuic Palace, which now serves as a prestigious art gallery, the MNAC.

Take in the stunning views over the Barcelona rooftops from the B Hotel’s eighth-floor swimming pool and sun deck. From here you can sit back and enjoy the warm sunshine during the day and the Magic Fountains during the evening. Alternatively, you can head to the B Bar to enjoy tapas and a selection of Spanish wines. The whole hotel is decorated in a chic, contemporary style, making use of quality materials and fashionable stylings.

proximity to museums subway and buses ( hop on hop off )

The bed was very hard and the construction site across the street was very noisy. when the subway train went under the hotel you could feel the vibration, also there was an odd smell and a stain in the hallway carpet

We asked for the most quiet room. The room they gave us was near the hotels (7th floor) machinery (pumps, etc) working all night long. It seemed like an earthquake each time the metro passed under the building.

Excellent hotel, great location, lovely people.

It might be just me, but the underground car park is difficult to manoeuver out of. The intercom for the gate is half way up a steep gradient and is invariably followed by a frantic hill start ...
