Yes. I put the "do not enter" sign on the door when I went out so housekeeping would not enter my room. (I had left all my stuff out since the in room safe did not work). When I returned to my room, I found housekeeping ignored that sign, and entered my room. Also, the airport shuttle needs improvement. |

I only stayed one night between two flights. I liked the room, it was clean and large. I didn't like the location (far away from Barcelona) and the stuff. I consider that the stuff need more trainings...or education. |

This hotel is about a 15 min taxi ride from the airport. The reason I chose this hotel was its location to the train station. It was an easy 10 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is also a 5 min walk to a very nice shopping mall. The hotel has great outdoor pools and a wonderful buffet breakfast. The hall carpet could be cleaner. It gives a poor impression of an otherwise very nice hotel. The front staff could be a little more cordial. |

pool was ok but very little shade around the pool area the hotel rooms are huge & have a lot of furniture in them but they could have done without making the rooms so big & spent a little more on the mattress--very uncomfortable bed for a 4*--nothing but a piece of foam. the restaurant/bar was pretty bad service --have no idea if this was due to lack of staff which i think may have been the case but i waited at least 10mins before getting served |

Having read some of the reviews I was pleasantly surprised with the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk. When the wireless did not work in my room they quickly provided a cable to connect direct. I was only staying for 3 days but would certainly return. The hotel was a bit soul less and it stuck me as being a 'transit hotel |

Staff were friendly and helpful. More staff in the evening, had to wait a while for drinks on a few occasions. If we wanted to eat during the day had to leave hotel as there were no facilities during the day enabling us to order food. |

Last year we stayed at another 4-star facility in Castelldefels (Best Western Mediterraneo); Apsis BCN Events is far superior to the BW for about the same price with one exception--a mediocre breakfast compared to the BW. Specifically, everything seemed to work (with the exception of the telephones but we have often experienced phones not working in Spain going back to the 1960s). Personnel was unable to help me place a collect call or even get me an international operator who could assist. |
